We've been operating since 2005 in Wellington, New Zealand

Calibre Equipment Ltd was established in 2005 when timber grading and verification standards were amended in New Zealand. A need for timber testing machines resulted from the changes and Calibre Equipment designed and manufactured the STFE™ testing machine to meet this need. Since then we have developed the Ecoustic™ grader and have further complimentary products planned for the future.

Our main offices and manufacturing workshop are located in
Wellington, New Zealand.

We design and manufacture our timber grading and testing products through extensive research and development. We also sell, install and service all our products as well as provide complimentary services associated with timber grading and quality assurance testing.

Our future plans

We want to provide a fully comprehensive structural grading solution whereby the data and information from each point in the process is used to automatically optimise the entire system.

We intend to continue making improvements to our current products as well as developing new complimentary ones.

Become a distribution partner
