Timbre™ is a tuned hammer and vibration isolation system unique to the Ecoustic™ Grader for unrivaled acoustic signal quality. It allows the wood to vibrate freely, delivering its ‘true sound’.
Timbre, pronounced “Tambar”, is a musical term defined as the ‘quality of sound’ distinguishing sounds of the same pitch and volume.

- A vibration isolating system that supports the wood whilst being struck, producing perfect sound - 'Timbre'
- A unique hammer striking system, optimally tuned for both mass and speed, capable of reproducing the same acoustic result strike after strike

- Robust noise cancellation algorithms that isolate the wood sound over other mill noise
- An extremely high acoustic signal resolution, typically 1/500th of the total signal
